Frequently Asked Questions
F.A.Q.
We are excited to work with you.
Have questions? We are here to help.
How do I get started?
We make the entire process as easy as possible.
You can contact us by:
- Completing the free consultation request form at the bottom of our websites pricing guide
- Calling 404-998-3191
- Or, sending an email to info@mythosmedia.us
Then we will coordinate a free no-obligation consultation to discuss what you are looking for and how we can help.
What does the free consultation involve?
In most cases we can provide an estimate on the spot.
What kind of guarantee do you offer on my website design?
We completely guarantee our design work. You will have complete visibility of your website being built at every stage of the process. If you are not satisfied with the drafts of your website project, we will continue to make revisions based on your feedback until you are satisfied.
I already have a website but I want a new design. Can you help?
Can you host domains on any top level domain (ie. .com, .net, .org, .us, .info, etc)?
Will my website have ads?
Not unless you want them. We do not require any ads on your website. You have complete control over content and information contained within your website. As long as you stay within our Policy and Guidelines, you can display anything you like.
Are your websites affordable?
Absolutely! We have streamlined our server adminstration and development process to reduce the costs involved with custom website design, development and hosting. This also allows us to provide several services for no additional charge, such as enhanced performance and security. You pay a reduced setup fee and only for the features you choose to use.
Please visit our pricing guide for more information.
How much do I pay up front?
During your free consultation (or shortly afterwards), we will create an estimate based on the features you would like. You only pay 50% of the estimated costs for us to get started with design and development. The final 50% is due on website completion before it goes live (publicly viewable).
Will the estimated amount change?
In most cases your estimated amount will not increase or decrease unless the website project changes (ex. functionality or pages are added/removed). There are some cases where it might change. For example, for stock photography we give an estimate based on our experience. However sometimes we may find the perfect photo for free, or sometimes it may cost a bit more than we estimated. Another example would be for copy writing. It may take a little bit more time or less time than we previously estimated.
For all items on our estimates, we will let you know if any item may vary ahead of time. In those cases, we will also get preapproval from you before continuing if the amount is greater than our estimate.
What type of support can I expect once my website is published?
Rest assured that you are never alone and we are constantly by your side to ensure the success of your online marketing solution. We provide continuous customer support for assistance to guarantee your website is running smoothly and to provide you with assistance when needed.
Will I have access to update content on my website?
Absolutely! We will show you how to make new blog posts and update existing content.
Can you make website updates for me?
Will my website be mobile friendly?
Yes, all of our websites are based on responsive web design to ensure that your website adapts to all device screen sizes.
Will my website be search engine friendly?
Yes, all our websites are created with search engine optimization (SEO) in mind and our website designs are compliant with search engine guidelines.
Will my website be secure?
Yes, we take security very seriously. All of our websites are hosted on individual server instances on Google Cloud Services. We secure our websites on the server level, not on the website software level. A common method we have seen for small businesses is to run security software plugins on the Content Management System (CMS), WordPress for example. This has two disadvantages: the inherent nature of this can leave security openings on the server side, and the software used (in our expereience) is not as efficient as it could be. We secure everything at the front door using firewall rules, watcher programs, and a locked down server configuration.
Will my website be fast?
Yes, we also take performance very seriously. All of our websites are hosted on individual server instances on Google Cloud Services. This enables us to provide lighting fast performance. Unlike shared hosting, this allows us to easily allocate the appropriate system resources for each website, and no two websites share the same resources. If a shared hosting provider encounters significant traffic or suffers a security breach, other websites on the same shared server would be negatively affected. At Mythos Media, your website would never be affected by these issues.
We do not have a lot of high quality images. What do you suggest?
All images on your website will have the appropriate copyright licenses.
How long will it take to create my website?
The length of time it takes to create a fully functional website is based on several factors, like the complexity of the design, its function, the number of pages, etc. Our websites are usually complete within 2 – 4 weeks. Of course, these are general guidelines, and we will make every effort to meet the timeframe you have in mind.
Will I have the final decision before my website is publicly viewable?
Yes! You will have complete visibility of your website being built at every stage of the process. If you are not satisfied with the drafts of your website project, we will continue to make revisions based on your feedback until you are satisfied.
How will I know if my customers are using my website?
We utilize Google Analytics to keep track of the number of website visitors you receive, how they were referred to your website, which pages they viewed, which countries they are from, and so forth.
We send monthly and weekly reports, which are included in our hosting plans.
